It initially began with the renewing of her thinking errors! She learned through bible scripture that regardless of what happened in her past, she had much to thank the Lord for. One day while listening to a sermon by her Pastor, the message inspired her so much that she felt compelled to praise the Lord with her vocals. It’s her way of thanking the Lord for saving her from suicide and from being psychologically damage. She also wants to share with others that if you will believe in God you will find that you can overcome obstacles as well. He who is in us is far greater and stronger than he who is in this world (1 John 4:4).

Shemier believes that no matter what circumstances you’re going through or been through, if you keep it simple and tell God what you need in prayer, he will deliver you as he did for her. Shemier’s favorite quote is “Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men (Psalm 107:31)”.
